Pop the hood of this 71 Plymouth Road Runner and check out the 440 Six Pack mill inside. Yes, we told you we have the original motor, but it’s on the side—when the 383 succumbed to old age and needed a rebuild it was set aside for the extra cubic inches and power of its big brother RB block! The 440 was completely gone through cosmetically and built for performance. New parts run from one side to another with a fresh battery and cables, new spark plug wires, an original date coded voltage regulator, new heater and radiator hoses and more. TTI ceramic headers carry gasses away while the freshened carbs breathe through a K&N filter in an original housing. Mopar’s chrome ECU and distributor setup handle the combustion along with a Purple Shaft cam.

Inside the 71 Road Runner, you’re in for a comfortable ride. New Legendary seat covers merge with restored original pieces. New carpet is on the floor, a new headliner is above and there’s a mint dash pad up front. The pistol grip shifter is in excellent shape. Aftermarket gauges are under the dash…apparently the previous owner didn’t trust the notoriously inaccurate gauges! Clean seat belts, an excellent steering wheel and excellent dash trim complete a very nicely done cabin!
