The first thing you notice about this awesome ‘1956 Chevrolet 210 is the body—it’s laser straight and that deep blue paint lets the factory shape and sparkling stainless trim speak for itself. The changes are subtle: shaved door handles, frenched antenna and license plate, and the vent windows have been removed. The show-quality chrome has a deep, rich shine that would have amazed the guys on the assembly line back in 1956. Updated taillights put a modern twist on the classic ’56 design and look exactly right on this car.

The 1956 Chevrolet 210 suspension is all-new featuring a rack-and-pinion steering upgrade from Classic Chevy, new control arms, bushings, and K-Y-B adjustable shocks all around. Out back, leaf springs suspend a new rear end with 3.08 gears spinning on a fresh limited slip differential. New front and rear sway bars keep it level in the corners. Power disc brakes from Master Power Brakes have been added up front, and the rear drums are all-new as well.

Power comes from a GM Performance 350/290 crate motor making 290 HP and a solid 326 lb.-ft. of torque. It’s topped by an Edelbrock Performer carburetor, with Sanderson block hugger headers and a pair of Magnaflow mufflers handling the exhaust chores. An MSD ignition handles the spark, while the brackets and pulleys for the accessory drive come from Zoops.
