1970 FORD MUSTANG, A MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE WITH A 428 BIG BLOCK, MACH 1 STRIPES RIDING ON BRAND NEW TORQUE THRUST II RIMS. It just doesnt get much better!!!! This car comes from New Mexico and is as very clean and solid on the underside with no rust issues. The body of the car is straight and solid. It has very shiny paint job. The hood, doors and trunk all open and shut as they should. The body lines are very good. The car has good chrome and a fairly new white vinyl top. All glass is in good shape and the weather stripping is new on the top, doors, windows and trunk. There are no gravel chips in the paint anywhere. The torque boxes, frame rails and floors are solid and are in excellent shape. The undercarriage has been painted and very lightly undercoated. The interior of the car looks very good. It has a new dash pad, new steering wheel, new carpet, new door panels and the seat covers are all in geat shape. The 428 engine runs smooth and strong and has plenty of power to blacken the roads. It has a brand new exhaust from the headers to the tailpipe tips and it sounds as a big block should! (Mean!) The C6 transmission has just been completely gone through and shifts perfectly. The front springs are new and the car sits nice and level. The car has a 9" rear end. The car has manual steering and takes a little muscle to turn the wheel with the weight of a 428 big block under the hood. This car is not an original 428 convertible is it a recreation.
